Convention Stampin'up (partie 1)

Je suis... motivée, heureuse et un peu fatiguée aussi. La convention 2012 est déjà fini après 3 jours passés avec des démos géniales venues de toute l'Europe.

I am... motivated, happy and a little bit tired as well. Convention 2012 is over after 3 days spent with wonderful demos form all over the Europe. 

Swap, swap, swap

Le thème de la Convention cette année était "I am". C'est un thème très ouvert qui peut s'appliquer à la vie professionnelle comme à la vie personnelle. Pour moi c'est surtout comment conciler ma passion pour le scrap et Stampin'up avec ma vie déjà bien remplie.

This year's Convention theme was "I am". Such an open theme as it can be applied to your business as well as your personnal life. But for me it's all about fitting my passion for crafting and Stampin'Up into an already very full life.

J'ai surtout aimé l'overture de la convention par un Lipdub fait par les américains avec à la fin notre staff européen qui débarque sur scène, le délire ! La chanson tourne encore en boucle dans ma tête tellement elle est entrainante.

I loved the opening on a Stampin'Up lipdub done by the American staff and with all our European staff coming out on to stage at the end singing and dansing. The song is stuck in my head it so upbeat and fun.

J'ai beaucoup aimé aussi les sessions de formation et d'information même si le côté américain est parfois un peu exacerbé. On nous montre les nouvelles tendances, on a le droit à quelques avant-premières Sale-a-bration et mini de printemps (vous allez être gâtées !!!) m'en voulez pas j'ai pas encore le droit de vous les montrer, il va falloir me croire sur parole !

I also really enjoyed the classes even if the American way of thinking can ba a bit overpowering. We got to see the new trends and sneak peaks at the new products (WOOOOOW) Don't hate me but I can't show you any of the new products yet, you will have to take my word for it until later ;-)

Mais par dessus tout ce que j'aime à la Convention, c'est retrouvé les copines, échanger des idées et de l'inspiration et me faire des nouvelles copines. Cette année, j'ai eu la chance de partager la Convention avec ma cousine. Son groupe m'a tout de suite adopté et on a trop bien rigolé ! J'ai aussi pu revoir mes copines de la lignée que j'ai pas l’occasion de voir souvent. Donc j'ai vraiment passé un super moment !

But what I love about all at Convention is meeting up with all the other demos, swapping, exchanging ideas and inspiration and making new friends. This year I was lucky to have my cousin at Convention with me and we had a great time! Her gang adopted me right away and it was so cool to hang out with some English people. I felt so at home! I was also able to meet up with my upline that I don't get to see all that often. So all in all it was pretty great!
